Presentations for classes and thesis defences

I prepare multimedia presentations with content, slide structure and visual design for your bachelor’s or master’s thesis defence, a final project on a postgraduate course, or a class, seminar or examination. Send your existing material, draft slides, or the topic and your lecturer’s requirements.

Choose the type of presentation

A presentation for your thesis defence

I prepare a multimedia presentation to help you discuss your own thesis at the defence. Your thesis and its actual findings are the starting point.

Type of thesis:

  • Bachelor’s thesis
  • Master’s thesis
  • Final project for a postgraduate course

Presentation content:

  • Selecting the key information from your thesis and arranging it into a logical presentation.
  • Slides presenting the topic, thesis aim, and key findings.
  • For a research thesis, this also includes methods, results, and conclusions.

Result: a coherent presentation to rehearse with, using content that reflects your thesis.

A presentation for a class, seminar, or examination

I start with your topic and what you need to present in class. I organise the slides, select the key information, and work out a clear way to show it. I can prepare the whole presentation from scratch or use the text, sources, and draft slides you provide.

I prepare PowerPoint presentations for practical classes, lectures, seminars, coursework assessments, and examinations. I tailor the amount of material to the slide count or the time available for your talk.

  • For an examination topic, the scope follows the subject and the requirements you provide.

Content, design, and a file for your presentation

Content in a logical order

An outline of your talk, material divided between slides, brief explanations, and a summary. I include source references and a bibliography according to the assignment requirements.

A consistent presentation design

If your university requires its own template, I use the one you provide. If the format is open, I create an understated, professional layout.

Layout, typography, colours, and graphics suited to the topic. Tables, diagrams, or charts help explain information where needed.

A file for further editing and your presentation

We agree on an editable format, such as PPTX, and any PDF export when you place the order. I can also prepare speaker notes or a script for your talk, with these included in the quote.

How we present content on slides

An example of an original slide layout

How do you assess a source?

  • Author and publication Who is responsible for the content, and where was it published?
  • Currency Is the publication date appropriate for the scope of the topic?
  • Relevance to the topic Which argument can this material support?

Speaker note for this slide When assessing a source, also check what material the author used to support their findings. The publication title alone is not enough to judge its usefulness.

This example was created for this page. It shows how content can be divided between the slide and the spoken presentation. It does not come from a client’s materials.

What should you send for your presentation?

  • For a thesis defence: your completed thesis and the presentation requirements.
  • For a class or examination: the topic, assignment brief, and source materials.
  • The time available for your talk or the required number of slides.
  • The university template, design guidelines, and required file format.
  • Draft slides and whether you need speaker notes or a script.

The scope is agreed before work begins

You do not need to work out every detail of the order yourself. I read the brief, review what you already have, and ask for any details needed. You know the scope, file format, deadline, and price before confirming the order. We discuss new requirements and later changes separately.

The content is prepared by a person, without AI-generated text. Before starting, I discuss how sources will be used, how the material will be delivered, and the scope of revisions.

The presentation price also depends on the slide count, the amount of content, graphics, and any agreed speaker notes. A presentation can be prepared alongside a seminar paper, report, or project description within one agreed order.

Do you also need a written coursework assignment?

For semester papers, essays, seminar papers, projects, or reports, see our separate service: Coursework and essays. We can prepare the document and slides together once the scope is agreed.

Do you first need help preparing a standalone research project to present in class? Choose the service “Research projects”.

When your source material needs more work

You can first discuss the content of your thesis, request language editing or have AI-assisted passages reviewed. If you lack sources for your topic, help finding and providing the literature you need is also available.

Questions before placing an order

Can you help create a university presentation from scratch?

Yes. We can develop the content, slide order, and consistent graphic design for a presentation for classes, a seminar, or a defence. We will use the instructor's instructions, provided sources, and your materials. Before starting, we will agree on the number of slides or presentation time, file format, and the scope of additional elements. You can also provide a draft presentation for expansion or improvement.

What should a presentation for a bachelor's or master's thesis defence include?

Check your degree programme's requirements, then select the information that explains your research problem, objective, material and approach, main findings, conclusions and limitations. Adapt the structure to your type of thesis: a theoretical thesis does not need a slide about respondents if the study did not involve them. Do not copy every chapter onto the slides. Your slides and spoken presentation should explain what you actually did and what you found.

How many slides do I need for my thesis defence, and how do I fit them into the time available?

First, determine the time and presentation requirements for your field of study. There is no single number of slides suitable for every defence. Prepare the key points, conduct a timed rehearsal, and remove secondary examples and repetitions if you exceed the limit. Leave time for transitions and calm explanation of difficult elements; simply reading faster does not solve an overloaded presentation.

Can I order a presentation together with speaker notes?

Yes. We can agree on a presentation with speaker notes or a script. We tailor the amount of content to your time limit and topic. If you also need a seminar paper, report or project description, both materials can form part of the same agreed order. Speaker notes and any additional document are included in the quote before work begins.

What should I send for a thesis defence or class presentation?

For a defence presentation, send your bachelor's or master's thesis, or final project for a postgraduate course, along with the slide requirements and presentation time limit. For a class presentation, we need the topic or assignment instructions, source materials and your lecturer's requirements. Include the university template if it must be used. You can also send draft slides for expansion or revision.

Will I receive an editable presentation, and can you use the university template?

We agree on the file format before starting. We can prepare an editable file, such as PPTX, and a PDF export if agreed. If your university or lecturer requires a particular template, send it with your materials. Where no template is required, we use consistent typography, colours and a clear slide layout. Speaker notes or a presentation script are agreed as a separate part of the work.
