Your text. Clear communication. Refined language.
You already have the content.
We help bring out what matters most.
Proofreading a bachelor's or master's thesis addresses language, punctuation and style, while editing helps organise sentences, paragraphs and the flow of your argument. You can send the whole thesis or selected chapters with your supervisor's comments. We preserve your meaning and agree on how extensive the changes should be.
See the text before and after editingWhat you gain
Your arguments become easier to understand
Correct language
Removing spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors allows you to refine the text before submitting it to your supervisor or course leader.
Smooth reading
Clearer sentences, fewer repetitions and better connections between paragraphs make it easier to follow your thought process from start to finish.
Consistent style
An organised presentation and language suited to the nature of the material help present the content in a professional manner.
Scope of support
From error correction to more extensive editing
Stylistic proofreading may address repetition, word choice and sentence flow. If the issue also involves paragraph structure or the logic of your argument, more extensive editing is needed. I will read the material and agree with you how much to change – from correcting the wording to restructuring specific passages. Support may include:
Linguistic and stylistic proofreading
When the material is ready, but errors and awkward phrasing weaken its impact.
- Spelling correction
- Punctuation correction
- Linguistic correction
- Stylistic correction
Result: a more linguistically correct text, where the form does not distract from the content.
Clearer ideas, fewer repetitions
When sentences are too complex and the meaning of the statement is lost in intricate structures.
- Improving sentence structure
- Removing repetitions
- Editing unclear sections
- Simplifying overly complex sentences
Result: clearer formulations that make it easier to understand your message.
Logic and flow of expression
When individual sections are written, but it is difficult to combine them into an organised argument.
- Organising paragraphs
- Improving text flow
- Refining transitions between paragraphs
- Improving the logic of the argument
Result: better connected paragraphs and a line of thought that is easier for the reader to follow.
Editing bachelor's and master's theses
When you want to refine the language of your university thesis and give it a consistent, academic character.
- Editing bachelor's and master's theses
- Proofreading coursework, essays and research papers
- Adapting the style to the nature of academic writing
Result: organised material where arguments are presented more clearly and in the appropriate style.

Who this service is for
Refine the entire document or a selected section
You can submit a text requiring final proofreading before submission or material that needs deeper editing. We help refine the language and presentation of content in various academic texts:
- Bachelor's and master's theses
- Coursework and assignment texts
- Seminar papers and texts on specific topics
- Research questionnaires
- Descriptions of research methodology
- Presentation texts
The text should be clear and natural. We correct syntax, word choice and flow, while preserving the meaning and your way of presenting the topic.
Tailored scope
Proofreading or editing – tailor the help to the state of the text
You can provide one chapter, several sections or the entire thesis. Before starting, we determine whether the text needs final proofreading or also changes in how arguments are presented.
Ready content for proofreading
If the chapters are already organised, we focus on spelling, punctuation, syntax and consistency of notation. The sample scope also includes consistent terminology, abbreviations and the notation of numbers and symbols. The meaning of the argumentation remains the reference point for every correction.
Text after supervisor's comments
If the comments concern unclear sentences, repetitions or a broken line of argument, the scope may include re-editing paragraphs and the connections between them. We compare the recommendations with the text and indicate places where content needs to be supplemented or an author's decision is required.
You will receive the corrected text within the agreed scope and format. I will agree on how corrections are shown with you before starting. If you need change tracking in Word, please specify this when requesting a quote. I will also point out issues requiring supplementation or your decision. You can combine editing with the service “Bachelor’s and master’s thesis formatting”.
Original example
Stylistic proofreading of a text: before and after example
I prepared this example for the website. It is shown here in translation and does not come from a client's thesis.
Before editing
An analysis of responses given by parents was carried out in relation to contact with the school. The analysis of responses aimed to establish what difficulties in contact with the school parents reported.
After editing
Parents' responses about contact with the school were analysed. The aim was to establish what difficulties parents reported in that contact.
What did I improve?
- I replaced 'an analysis … was carried out' with 'were analysed' and 'in relation to' with 'about'.
- I reduced repetition of 'analysis of responses' and 'contact with the school'.
- I kept the same material, participants and objective. I did not add findings or turn the aim of the analysis into a claim that a particular result had already been obtained.
In your document, similar editing can cover selected fragments or the entire text. Before starting, we will agree on how to display the changes; if you prefer to track changes in Word, please mention this in your inquiry.
First step
Show us the text. We will determine the scope of assistance.
You do not need to decide yourself whether proofreading is sufficient or if full editing is required. Send the material for an initial assessment and tell us what you want to improve. The following will help in defining the scope:
Current material
The finished document or fragment you are working on. Mark the sections that cause you concern.
Objective and type of text
Tell us whether this is a thesis, seminar paper, text on a specific topic or another material, and who will read it.
Guidelines and comments
Attach any style requirements and feedback from your supervisor or instructor, if you have them.
Length and deadline
Indicate whether this concerns the whole text or a part of it, and provide the required deadline. Based on this, we will discuss the quote and feasibility.
Language, structure, and format of the thesis – choose the right scope
Proofreading addresses the accuracy and readability of your text. Restructuring the outline and formatting the document are related services that you can commission separately. If the issue concerns the order of chapters, explore the service “Help with your thesis outline and structure”. Margins, styles and the table of contents are covered by the service “Bachelor’s and master’s thesis formatting”, while reference formatting is covered by the service “Reference list and citation corrections for your thesis”.
Before submitting the document, you can use the guides: how to organise the structure of your thesis and how to adapt your thesis to university guidelines.

Most common questions about proofreading and editing
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading focuses on language accuracy, spelling and punctuation. Editing also addresses sentence structure, style, paragraph organisation, flow and the logic of your argument. We tailor the scope to the condition of your text and the changes it needs.
We offer both proofreading and editing for bachelor's and master's theses, coursework, reports, other academic papers and presentations.
Can I submit only one section of the thesis?
Yes. You can submit an individual chapter, questionnaire, methodology section, results, references, footnotes or another section. Support can also cover presentation content or editing a finished text.
When sending a section, include your thesis topic and outline, plus any feedback from your supervisor. This helps us understand how it fits into the full document.
Do you help international students improve their Polish texts?
Yes. We help international students who write academic texts in Polish and need support with language, style and sentence structure. This can include correcting sentences, making the wording sound natural, organising paragraphs and adapting the style to academic writing.
This is particularly useful when your content is ready but the Polish wording needs refinement.
How do I get a proofreading quote and delivery date?
Send your text, describe the changes you need and give your deadline. We will assess whether proofreading is enough or more extensive editing is needed, then discuss the price and what can be completed within your timeframe.
