Planning a study or working with data already collected?
Preparing a research proposal
Have a topic and brief, but have yet to carry out the study? We will prepare a document setting out its aim, procedure and approach to analysis.
- The aim, research questions and hypotheses, where justified.
- Methods, material selection criteria and a description of the planned procedure.
- A questionnaire, interview guide or another agreed research tool.
- A data analysis plan matched to the questions and type of material.
Result: a coherent proposal and documentation to review before starting the study.
A project and report based on actual data
Have responses, interviews, documents or other research materials? We will prepare the agreed project document and a clear report.
- A description of the aim, method used and how the study was actually carried out.
- Organisation of the material and a description of how it was analysed.
- Results presented in text, tables or charts.
- Interpretation, conclusions and limitations consistent with what the data show.
Result: a project document with a report based on the material provided. We agree on calculations before starting.
You can commission the whole project or a specific stage. We select the elements to match the brief: a research proposal does not need completed results, and analysing a dataset you provide does not always require a new research tool.
Discuss your research projectFrom research question to completed project document
Concept and rationale
We will clarify the problem and the questions the project should answer. We will link the aim to the concepts used and the literature needed. You receive a document suited to the assignment’s scope.
Method and research tool
We will prepare the agreed description of methods and the tool needed to collect material. If you already have a questionnaire or interview guide, we will check that the questions match the project’s aim and make the agreed revisions.
Analysis and report
Once we receive actual data, we will prepare the agreed summaries, presentation of results and conclusions. For qualitative material, we will determine how to organise the responses or documents. The scope of statistical tests and additional files is agreed separately.
Examples of what you can receive
A proposal for a questionnaire study
A document with the aim, questions, description of the intended participant group, questionnaire and response analysis plan. This material prepares you for the study, without adding results that have not been obtained.
A report on a completed project
Work on the response dataset you provide: an account of the study’s procedure, agreed summaries, charts and interpretation. Conclusions reflect the actual data and the material’s limitations.
These are examples of document types, rather than clients’ research results. The final structure follows your brief.
What should you send for your research project?
- The full brief, topic, course name or seminar objective.
- The required structure, length, document format and deadline.
- Your existing proposal, literature, research tool and lecturer’s comments.
- For a project with results: actual data or materials and an account of how they were obtained.
- Details of which elements are complete and which need to be prepared from scratch.
Before you confirm the order, we will agree on the scope, delivery format, deadline and price. We can prepare an editable document, such as DOCX, and agreed analysis files. The account of the study will reflect what was planned or actually carried out.
A standalone project or part of a thesis?
This service covers a standalone research assignment. If the work is to form part of a bachelor’s or master’s thesis, choose the service “Thesis research section: methodology, results and discussion”. If you need an essay, seminar paper or semester project describing a solution, see the service “Coursework and essays”. If a presentation is also required, you can additionally choose the service “Presentations for classes and thesis defences”.
Need only one part?
You can order just the methodology description, a questionnaire, analysis and a write-up of your results, or calculations. Choose the scope that matches the work needed.
- Help with your thesis methodology chapterA coherent research plan, questionnaire or interview.
- Questionnaire design for your thesisQuestions and response options aligned with your research aim and plan.
- Analysis and presentation of research results for your thesisFrom survey responses and other research data to analysis and conclusions.
- Statistical analysis for bachelor’s and master’s thesesChoice of statistical tests, calculations and a clear explanation of results.
Questions before commissioning a project
What does preparing a university research project involve?
We prepare the agreed work for a standalone class or seminar project. Before data collection, this may be a research proposal covering the objective, research questions, methods, a research instrument and an analysis plan. If data have already been collected, the work may include a report on how the research was actually carried out, its results and conclusions. We agree on the required sections, calculations and file formats after reading the assignment. Not every project needs all these elements.
Can I order a research project before collecting data?
Yes. We can prepare a proposal for a planned study: the objective, research questions and justified hypotheses, material selection, methods, a research instrument and a plan for subsequent analysis. The document sets out the study design and how the research will be conducted. Results can only be described once real data have been obtained. We agree on access to data and the research arrangements before accepting the project.
What materials are needed for a report, practical report or case study?
We need the assignment instructions and the materials the work will be based on: a case description, documents, observations, results or data from completed activities. Reports on real research or practical classes reflect what actually took place. If the assignment uses a hypothetical example, we make that clear. We agree on the scope of analysis and any calculations before starting.
How does a research project differ from the research section of a thesis?
A research project is a standalone assignment, for example for a course or seminar, with its own scope set out in the instructions. The research section of a thesis must also fit the thesis topic, theoretical framework, outline and other chapters. This work is covered by the service Thesis research section: methodology, results and discussion
Can I commission just one stage or revisions to an existing research project?
Yes. You can commission a research proposal, an instrument, data analysis or a report, for example, as well as expansion of a draft or revisions following your lecturer's feedback. Send all the materials you have and indicate what has already been completed. We will check how the objective, methods and results fit together and identify what still needs to be prepared. Additional analyses and new requirements are agreed before work begins on them.
